The details to review before sampling

Review yarn, stitch structure and fit together. Gauge, texture and finishing influence the garment’s weight, stretch and silhouette; confirm the details through sampling.

01

Yarn & Hand Feel

Discuss fibre preferences, softness, warmth and colour references. Yarn composition and availability are confirmed for each project.

02

Gauge & Stitch Structure

Review fine or chunky textures, ribbing, cable patterns and stitch density against the intended silhouette.

03

Fit & Measurements

Confirm neckline, body length, sleeve shape and size grading. Review stretch and garment measurements in the sample.

04

Cardigan Details

Define the button placket, buttons, pockets and contrast trims. Match closures and edge finishes to the selected knit structure.

05

Texture & Embellishment

Discuss cable patterns, cord embroidery or eyelash-style textures. Technique suitability and finish are assessed during sampling.

06

Labels & Finishing

Confirm care instructions, brand labels, hangtags and packaging after yarn and garment construction are agreed.
